He looked after my mum recently and what a through nice bloke. Had a good patient interaction and made her feel at ease. not a bit big headed even though he is obviously very good at his job and very cleaver. Really liked him and made the decision To go ahead with opp really easy as not worried about what he was going to do.

I had brain surgery abroad last year as the surgery I required was not yet available in the UK on the NHS. The surgery I had is controversial, there are a number of neurosurgeons that don't believe in it's efficacy and strongly advise against it. Dr Teo was recommended to me by someone who's wife has been operated on by Dr Teo. They couldn't sing his praises highly enough, saying not only was he a brilliant surgeon but also someone who really listened to his patients and had a great deal of respect for them. I contacted Dr Teo directly with a view to organising my UK aftercare and while not advocating the surgery himself, I found him to be respectful and understanding of the reasons I was taking the huge risk of undergoing surgery. I see him for my aftercare and he has shown a keen interest in my progress. A friend of mine works for the NHS and is working with him on a pioneering project. Dr Teo is clearly a brilliant surgeon with an open and interested mind, this along with his genuine caring nature will see him go far. I'm really excited to see where his career takes him, he's definitely got the star potential to be a key figure in the world of neurosurgery.

I found Mr Teo to be deeply respectful and trust worthy. He filled me with confidence that he was able to remove my brain tumour. His team were also exceptional in their care of me and all the way through my treatment I was confident in their ability. During my consultation with Mr Teo he listened to me taking in all of the problems that I had been experiencing, he also saw me very quickly and my surgery began within 4 days of seeing him which I am truly appreciative of. His Reg at the time Mr Hartley came to see me after the operation and gave me the great news that they had managed to remove all of the tumour. Mr Hartley was also very considerate and caring. I know that there was a huge team of people looking after me and some of them I didn’t meet so I can only speak of Mr Teo and I am truly grateful and thankful that I was assigned to him to carry out my much needed operation. The after care has also been exemplary and I am deeply grateful for Mr Teo’s continued care along with his new team. I feel completely supported and know that if I have any issues post surgery that I only have to pick up the phone and Mr Teo and his team will be able to help me, like they currently are with my scar not healing quite as well as it should. They have moved fast and professionally ensuring that my ongoing care is taken seriously and treated appropriately. I thank you all but especially Mr Teo and currently the new Clinical Fellow/Reg Dr Vita Stagno. Thank you

Firstly I want to fully recommend Mr Teo and his team for fantastic care and support during initial diagnosis and my subsequent treatment. I fully trust him and thank him for taking me on as a patient and successfully removing my spinal cavernoma. I was diagnosed in March 2017 with a spinal cavernoma. This resulted in nerve damage and partial paralysis. We met Mr Teo who explained what had happened (as we had never heard of this) and what we could expect going forward. We adopted a watch and wait approach initially however it re-bled in May 2019 causing more nerve damage, after MRIs and discussion with Mr Teo it was decided to operate to try and remove the cavernoma. Mr Teo explained the risks involved and the hoped for recovery. I trust Mr Teo implicitly and believe that he will always do his best for his patients. This was a very complicated and risky operation through which we have thankfully had a positive outcome due to Mr Teo’s skill. I felt very safe in Mr Teo’s care and in all follow up meetings he has taken time to explain and always listens to my concerns, he has given me my future back for which I will be forever grateful.
